This contract is part of the major development project of AS Utilitas Tallinna Soojus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\"><strong>Under this contract, the following will be constructed:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-el\">Paljassaare p\u00f5ik 14 \u2013 Heat Pump Plant:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-el\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-el\">\n<li>The heat pump plant will provide an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly district heating solution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It will use natural sources (treated wastewater and seawater) for heat production.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The facility will consist of two tall machine halls, with a three-story section containing technical rooms between them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The northwest part of the building will include a basement level (approx. 7 meters underground) housing a seawater reservoir and technical rooms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The building will be constructed on pile foundations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-el\">Paljassaare tee 1 \u2013 Seawater Pumping Station:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-el\">\n<li>A seawater intake filtering system and pumping station.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The facility will use seawater as an energy input source, allowing for the stabilization of input flow rates and increasing heat output.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The building will consist of one underground level (approx. 9 meters deep) and one above-ground level (with parapet height approx. 9 meters above ground).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The structure will also be built on pile foundations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">Specialized construction works include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-el\">\n<li>Technological piping and equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HVAC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Electrical works<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Low-voltage systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commissioning and testing of the station<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">The technological portion of the pump stations, including procurement and installation of pipes and equipment, will be carried out by KE Infra.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\"><strong><strong><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/strong>:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">Utilitas is building Estonia\u2019s first large-scale heat pump plant in Paljassaare, Tallinn, that produces thermal energy from treated wastewater and seawater. The 110 MW capacity plant will begin supplying heat to the district heating network in 2026.<br><br>This emission-free heat pump plant will use the thermal energy extracted from purified wastewater and seawater, upgrading it to district heating temperatures using green electricity.
